Job Description
The Canadian international development agency(CIDA) program support unit invites applications for this position. The program support unit is a bilateral project of CIDA and the successful candidates will perform a wide range of administrative and financial functions while assisting the Director in the Day-to-Day operations of the office.
Executive Assistant
Function and Duties
- Assist in the effective planning coordinating and supervision in general of the administration and support activities of the project
- Assist in procurement procedures, contracting and mission support
- Oversee the IT function of the office
- Manage the human and capital resources of the PSU
- Maintain security of the premises and project assets
Experience
- Relevant university degree is an asset 5 years experience in the domain of the office administration, human resource management, financial management and procurement
- Previous experience within an international organisation is an asset
- Excellent interpersonal skills/ ability to work within minimum supervision and to multi task
- Strong computer skills and experience with Microsoft office application
- Good command of the English
